Training on working with survivors of torture and severe trauma.

Discussions include
The nature and prevalence of torture, as well as the most effective and promising practices used when working with trauma survivors.

The Power of Literacy

Local to global literacy presenters, scholars, thought leaders, and foundation leaders.

Discussion include
This UNSPOKEN Conference track will explore the many facets of literacy and how literacy can be either fostered or suppressed through early childhood experiences, funding, cultural differences, schooling, and governmental shifts. We will also consider the future of literacy. How will it grow or change?  Local and national perspectives will be considered.
